ISA Healthcare Solutions Training Classes

ISA offers various training to help you leverage the full capabilities of MMEx. All training classes are delivered by qualified and experienced MMEx training specialists for both individuals and small groups of up to five users. Larger group training sessions can also be arranged by request.
Below is a list of standard training courses available which can be delivered either online or at your own site. The training agenda can be fully tailored to suit your needs with flexibility in terms of content delivered to cater for any questions during the session.

Base Training Classes
MMEx Start-up (Available onsite only) This is an onsite hands-on class designed for users in an organisation that is looking to or has recently implemented MMEx as its clinical information management system. The training will cover the basic features and clinical/practice management modules in MMEx, including navigation, billing, reporting, and clinical record management, as well as role specific features depending on the audience, e.g. practice manager, GP, allied health, mental health, health worker, etc Suitable for all staff within any organisation of any size 4 hrs
MMEx Beginner This class is designed for new staff members in an organisation that has been using MMEx for longer than 6 months. The training will cover the basic features and clinical/practice management modules in MMEx, including navigation, billing, reporting, and clinical record management, as well as role specific features depending on the audience, e.g. practice manager, GP, allied health, mental health, health worker, etc. Suitable for new staff within any organisation of any size. 2 hrs
MMEx Refresher This class has been designed for users who have completed either Start-up or Beginner class, and is recommended to be taken annually. The training covers a targeted agenda aimed at improving compliance and adherence to workflows. Suitable for all staff within any organisation who have previously completed either Start-up or Beginner class. 2 hrs
Specialised Training Classes
Headspace This class has been designed for headspace centres based on their workflow. This class covers the basic key features of MMEx with a focus on headspace-specific features, including intake and case management, clinical record management, and hYEPP program management. Suitable for all staff within a headspace centre, including intake workers and clinicians. 2 hrs
ITC This class has been designed for organisations that deliver or manage the ITC program. This class covers the basic key features of MMEx with a focus on ITC specific features, including an overview of MMEx clinical record, secure messaging and the ITC forms and reports. Suitable for all staff involved in delivery of the ITC program, including PHNs that need to run reports 2 hrs
My Health Record This class has been designed for organisations that want to use MMEx to access My Health Record This class covers the basic key features of MMEx with a focus on MY Health Record interaction, including assisted registration of patients and creating and uploading of event summaries, eReferrals, specialist letters and shared health summaries. Suitable for all clinicians, including GPs, allied health practitioners and specialists. 2 hrs
Advanced Training Classes
Organisation Administration Learn how to manage your user accounts and configure your organisation to suit your needs Training includes an introduction to user management and organisation centre. For experienced Organisation Administrators, this training session can be used to focus on a specific area for learning. This class will benefit Organisation Admins and Managers Min 1 hr
Care Planning Learn how to create and build Care Plans to manage chronic conditions, maximise patient outcomes and drive clinical practice Training includes: Care Planning overview, Plan and create a care plan, Create Care Plan Activities, Modify a Care Plan. This class will benefit: Organisation admins, Practice Managers, Clinicians and Care Coordinators 2 hrs
Advanced User Focus on a specific area of MMEx and learn all of the features and efficiencies. This training can focus on any select area(s) of MMEx. This class will benefit any user. Min 1 hr
New Features With up to 7 software releases each year and constant improvement and development, this session is designed to help your organisation stay up to date with MMEx’s enhancements and keep your practice evolving. This training provides an overview of Improvements, New features, Changes to Existing Features, Changed workflows, Configuration changes. This class will benefit Organisation admins, Super-users, Users impacted by change in their area of practice 1 hr
Business / Practice Improvement Services
Insights Learn how you can use Insights and its built-in reports to analyse your business and clinical practice to maximise health outcomes and improve business performance * Insights licenced separately to MMEx The training will cover the basic features of Insights and how you can use standard built-in reports to run reports on your organisation’s business and clinical performance.

This class will benefit Practice Managers, Organisation Admins, Administrators, Clinical users who wish to undertake research. Min 1 hr
Business Analysis / Process Development MMEx Health Informatics Expert(s) can assist you to plan, implement and execute process changes in to facilitate maximum efficiency and consistency Assistance for your organisation with Workflows, Policies & Procedures, Business Improvement, Change Management, ICT Analysis and Solutions. This class will benefit any organisation that wish to achieve benefits realisation and resolve process and implementation issues. 1 day

Training Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions will apply for scheduling of training.

.Online (Video Conference) This is an instructor-led training that trainees can access through a link to a Cisco WebEx session to view and participate in training. The trainer will deliver training through screen sharing and provide commentary on what is being demonstrated. Trainees can ask questions and interact with the trainer throughout the training using their audio connection or the chat window in WebEx. Onsite (Face-to-face) This is an instructor-led training where trainer(s) will attend your own site or another suitable location to deliver training face-to-face. The trainer will deliver training in an interactive manner with demonstration on a projector screen and engage trainees for feedback. Trainees can and are encouraged to undertake hands-on activities during the training in a training environment on their own devices.

Travel Charges N/A Should ISA staff will be required to travel outside Perth/Brisbane Metro, travel and accommodation will be charged as a pass through cost with a 7.5% admin fee for the arrangement of travel and accommodation.

Rescheduling Online training can be rescheduled with one or more business days’ notice. If less than one business day or no notice is given, a penalty of up to 25% of the training fee may be charged. Onsite training can be rescheduled with more than 48 hours’ notice. If less than 48 hours’ or no notice is given, a penalty of up to 25% of the training fee may be charged. Where a non-flexi flight has been arranged by ISA, rescheduling before the day of departure will incur a penalty of $94.60 plus any fare difference, and changes on or after the day of departure will result in a penalty of the full flight arrangement cost and will require a new flight to be arranged based as per Travel Charges outlined above.
Cancellation Online training can be cancelled if one or more business days’ notice is given. If less than one business day or no notice is given, a penalty of up to the full cost of the training fee may be charged. Onsite training can be cancelled if two or more business days’ notice is given. If less than two business days’ or no notice is given, a penalty of up to the full cost of the training fee may be charged. Where a non-flexi flight has been arranged by ISA, cancellation will result in loss of fare. Where a flexi flight has been arranged by ISA, cancellation prior to scheduled flight will incur a penalty of $94.60, and failure to give cancellation notice will result in a penalty of the full flight arrangement cost.
Invoice ISA will invoice the full amount on completion of the training.
