You can keep a record of what school your young patients attend - you can then use this as a filter to identify a cohort that will be reviewed on school visits etc.

This schools setting also populates specialty modules of MMEx such as Audiology.

On the Schools tab in Patient Details, click on Add School

Selecting a school

In the school name field enter part of a school name. you will be shown a shortlist of schools that are listed in your organisation address book. Select the desired school, complete the rest of the fields and click Save.

Click on the magnifying glass and in a popup, you will be shown a list of schools in the Address Book. Select the desired school, complete the fields and click Save.

If the school you require is not already in the organisation address, click Add New School. A pop up address book entry box will open. Enter the school details and click Add complete the fields and click Save.

Managing Schools

Use the buttons at the side of the table to manage the school listings:

  • Edit - to edit the details of the entry
  • Delete - to remove an entry
  • Set Current - to set the school as the current school attended by the young person.

Populating the school list with your local schools

In the Address Book, use the excel upload function to upload a list of all local schools.
Schools may be given a generic category of “School” or more specific “Primary”, “Secondary” etc.
